Role overview

As an Innovation Lead for one of the Made hubs, you will serve as the driving force behind the successful delivery of (digital & physical) innovation initiatives within the industry.

Acting as the content authority within that hub, you will ensure that industry-specific insights and expertise are consistently translated into impactful and high-quality project outcomes.

In close collaboration with the Hub Lead, you will form a dedicated leadership duo focused on steering our innovation initiatives. Your core responsibilities will center on program management and maintaining excellence in project execution, delivering digital products that not only meet user needs but also contribute to sustainable business growth.

Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of designers, marketeers, and strategists, you will be accountable for keeping projects on track, on budget, and aligned with both strategic objectives and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze the innovation challenge from the client and identify customer needs, market trends, and competition to frame a relevant and impactful design thinking approach
  • Define and communicate product roadmaps and strategy to align stakeholders and guide execution.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to define product& specifications, timelines, and budgets
  • Use customer feedback and product metrics (e.g., engagement, conversion, revenue) to iterate and optimize product performance.
  • Ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standardsManage product lifecycle, including end-of-life decisions and product sunsetting
  • You’re actively searching for up-and-cross-selling opportunities for Made.
  • You can utilize industry knowledge to tailor solutions & support pre-sales activities & provide internal knowledge sharing

Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree
  • min. 4 years of relevant work experience in client-focused role or min 2 years of experience in leading digital/creative projects for clients
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of customer needs, market trends, and business objectives, preferable in the construction industry
  • Proven track record of delivering successful digital products on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools
  • Good knowledge of UX/UI design principles and techniquesYou are the right kind of difficult: you know when to push and when to deliver.
  • You know your (user-centered) design thinking tools and methodologies!
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
