With a legacy of over 100 years, Novy has always defined what’s next.
In close collaboration with Novy, Made defined the company’s new sustainability mission. With goals that are to be achieved through a practical plan of action and a clear governance structure to start making positive impact. Of course the roadmap was fully synced with the timelines of the most relevant sustainability legislations such as EU Taxonomy, ESPR and CSRD.
A process that extends that Novy legacy, benefitting its people, products, and the planet. Granting Novy a competitive advantage and keeping the company ahead of the curve.
Made’s roadmap has proved a central and critical part of this mission, allowing full alignment of innovation and development efforts to the sustainability goals. Furthermore, the roadmap brings clarity to the business priorities for years to come.
What started as a classical sustainability brainstorm ended in a new mission statement.
NOVY next: A guideline for the future
We helped NOVY shape their transformative mission, "Novy Next," which underscores their dedication to the well-being of their employees, the excellence of their products, and the health of our planet.
We created a roadmap with ambitious yet realistic initiatives to take towards the goals we’ve set. We’ve also mapped out a legislative framework, to give a clear and visual overview of current and future legislations to take into consideration, such as CSRD, ESPR, PPWR and others.
To support the NOVY team to turn ambitions into results, we created a project management and governance setup. We assigned teams to every initiative. Each with a detailed plan of action, in sync with priorities, expertises and goals.
Co-creative workshops
Made organized a series of workshops in which Novy’s new sustainability mission statement took shape. During these co-creation sessions, the Double Diamond method was applied to ensure the result fit Novy’s DNA.
Getting everyone on board
Once the mission and its goals were defined, Made provided a clear and appealing strategy visualization. This allowed the team to better share its message and get everyone in the company on board.
A hands-on roadmap
Where and how to start? Which initiatives need to be set up? Which take priority? Made built a roadmap with clearly defined, ambitious yet realistic goals, to-do’s, and steps to start and continue working towards the goals.
The project with Made reignited the company's focus on sustainability, culminating in a new mission & vision with well-defined action plans.
