This wasn’t about making another beer gadget, you know. This was about creating a whole new product category.
The challenge was clear: build a brand, craft a desirable product experience, and deliver a first working prototype that could instantly mix different molecules into the perfect beer.

Together with the people of Baron, we created more than just a machine. We built an entirely new tap and brewing experience.
The Baron molecular beer dispenser blends seamlessly into home interiors with a timeless, high-end design that avoids traditional beer clichés and instead celebrates its scientific core.
Warm materials, refined details, and organic lines make it inviting, while its innovative functionality makes it iconic. From website and packaging to brand identity and product, Baron now stands as a premium brand with a first fully functional product that showcases the future of beer: phygital, smart, and stylish.


Approach
From vision to viable product in under a year
To get there, we combined digital and product design expertise with close collaboration alongside Baron’s scientific and engineering teams. We acted as the user’s advocate, refining ergonomics, interaction, and desirability through continuous testing and iteration.
Our phygital approach ensured every detail, from cooling water to cartridge refills, worked in harmony, creating a coherent flow across all touchpoints.
At the same time, we built a bold brand identity inspired by beer, but with an innovative, modern twist. The result: in less than a year, Baron went from idea to a minimum viable product, backed by a brand and product experience ready to reshape the beer world.
