Every last Tuesday of the month UXAntwerp organizes UX Beers. This time, Made hosted it and welcomed some wonderful speakers. One of them was our own Craig Soenen, who has a (not so secret) love for anything Disney! Don't think princes & princesses, but UX/Service and Product Design.

Everyone takes their responsibility to make sure you, as a guest, have the best experience.

  1. Use real data to inform all decisions, enhancements, and improvements.
    Disney retrieves a lot of data throughout the use of the apps, with the magic band. And with this information, they make decisions for the future.


  2. Customers are people who need your assistance. They are not an interruption to your job; they are the reason you have a job.


  3. Be legendary
    Have a legendary attention to detail.


  4. Never ever say: "that's not my job."
    Everyone takes their responsibility to make sure you, as a guest, have the best experience. Did you know that every Disney employee, whether they are a janitor or a manager, is obliged to pick up a piece of trash once they see it?
    All that to preserve the magical atmosphere in the park.
    It's not because you're in UX that you can't think about functional analysis.
