Creating a design language offers two main challenges. Next to defining and implementing key signature elements, the underlying strategy on how to apply those elements needs to be defined but also guarded throughout time.
How can we set Novy up for the next 5 to 10 years so clients will recognize that signature style in any kitchen?
How do we create advantages of scale by streamlining the production process?

Solution: New design DNA
Made helped to rejuvenate the brand & product portfolio. We transformed brand values into tangible product qualities, helping to make Novy's product range consistent and recognizable within the market.
We were able to analyze and identify the key signature elements but also we've spotted gaps in the portfolio, transforming them into opportunities for the future roadmap.
Already 7 products have been influenced and redesigned, based upon the new Design DNA.


Innovation Partner & Design Guardian
Partnering up with the R&D team of Novy, we summarized all guidelines and created a design DNA booklet, which is now the number one reference for all upcoming products.
Next to that, Made became a close innovation partner and design DNA guardian, curating through design audits & regular steerco's within concept sprints and throughout the development cycles of new products.
