Project Lead

Are you someone with a digital background who loves to be present in all phases of a digital innovation project?

We’re looking for someone who can be hands-on in projects, draft a strategic vision and lead projects in the right direction. You have to be able to look at the bigger picture, but also be willing to dive into details.

Someone who knows how to drive projects forward and inspire clients, designers, and developers to create relevant and impactful products and services. You love to challenge the status quo! And you know how to do that within a defined planning and budget.

You want to create an impact by solving exciting (digital) innovation challenges, and you’re only happy when you’ve turned those workshop post-its into concrete concepts and prototypes so you can validate them with real stakeholders.

What will you do?

  • Analyze the innovation challenge from the client (the why, how, and what) and translate it into a design thinking project approach.

  • Define and drive the strategy behind the new digital (and phygital) products and services we conceive.

  • Lead digital project teams, strengthened by business and product designers where needed.

  • Brief, challenge, and coach the designers and strategists of the project team to deliver the best possible outcomes.

  • Manage the project planning and budget.

  • Scope and manage user research, ideation, concept creation, and validation phases.

  • Translate insights and infographics (customer journeys, persona’s, jobs to be done, touchpoint analysis,...) into strong digital concepts and useflows.

  • Organize and lead workshops and ideation sessions.

  • Translating strategic issues and user needs into strong prototypes and proof of concepts, mainly digital, but with a lot of care for the service- and business models behind.

  • Test, validate, and iterate on prototypes with your team and with real users.

  • Assess the impact your work will have on the desired business model.

  • You inspire clients and stakeholders and you challenge them to go one step further.

  • Manages expectations of different stakeholders.

  • Present project progress to clients and stakeholders on key milestones.

  • Guard Made quality.

  • Managing development teams and guard the initial strategy and design philosophy

  • You’re actively searching for up-and-cross-selling opportunities for Made.

Job requirements

Your qualities should include:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree and min. 4 year relevant work experience.

  • You know your (user-centered) design thinking tools and methodologies!

  • You can jump in to visualize service blueprints, concepts, and ideas, and you’re not scared to create wireframes yourself to brief designers or to upgrade a project.

  • A vision for UX/UI and aware of the latest developments in the field of UX/UI, IoT, and AI

  • You understand the most common development languages to guarantee the feasibility of what you design and to communicate with developers.Familiar with tools such as Adobe CC, Figma, Mural, …

  • Knows how to build design systems and component libraries.

  • Motivated, positive, proactive, creative, and inspiring.

  • Very good communicator.

  • Building on your experience and expertise you know how to build strong client relationships.

  • You make crystal clear, nice-looking, and to-the-point presentations and know how to present them to a C-level audience (Google Slides, Keynote, …)

  • You are the right kind of difficult: you know when to push and when to deliver.

  • A team player.

  • Fluent in English and preferably also in Dutch.

  • Car license B.
