Senior Design Researcher

We’re looking for someone who knows how to drive projects forward and inspire clients and designers to create and test relevant value propositions.
You love to challenge the status quo! A human-centered approach is what you live by. You combine workshops, co-creation, and creativity with a passion and expertise for quantitative research. You want to make a difference by testing all the assumptions and you’re only happy when you’ve turned those workshop ideas into validated concepts.
What will you do?
1. Lead multidisciplinary project teams
Analyze the innovation challenge from the client (the why, how, and what) and translate it into a design thinking project approach
Manage multidisciplinary project teams (Digital/ Product/ Strategy/ Business)
Organize and lead workshops and ideation sessions
2. Lead strategy and research
Be the internal expert when it comes to quanti research. Help colleagues and create a way of work / tools / templates to standardize the Made way of doing research;
Scope and manage quantitative user research for clients (surveys, A/B tests, fake doors, …)
Translate research data into relevant and concrete insights and infographics (customer journeys, persona’s, jobs to be done, touchpoint analysis,...)
Test, validate, and iterate on product prototypes with your team
Guard Made quality
Support in making quotes and pitching projects to clients together with business developers
3. Lead the context with project management skills
- Manage the planning & deadlines and budget for your projects and project teams;
Be the single point of communication (SPOC) for the client & internal for your project;
Align with your Director who mentors you in projects to guard the Made quality.
Actively spotting relevant up-and-cross-selling opportunities
4. Lead clients with stakeholder management skills
You inspire clients and stakeholders and you challenge them to go one step further;
Be the single point of communication (SPOC) for the client for your project.
Be an intrapreneur-as-a-service who helps our clients to realize successful projects and ventures;
Present & Develop materials to communicate project progress to clients and partners on key milestones
convince stakeholders through persuasive written and verbal communication.
What we are looking for…
Someone who can lead strategy and research tracks
with expertise in and passion for quantitative research and data analysis (hybrid quant/qual skills is a plus)
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in product development, design, business, strategy, marketing, psychology, entrepreneurship & innovation, economics, or another relevant field, or (+5 year) relevant work experience
- Portfolio of diverse range of projects and work demonstrating:
Human centered design capabilities
Design thinking + agile experimentation approach to problem solving
Future visioning and strategy development
Creative synthesis and storytelling skills
You know your (user-centered) design thinking tools and methodologies!
You make crystal clear, nice-looking, and to-the-point presentations and know how to present them to a C-level audience (Google Slides, Keynote, …)
Fluent in Dutch and English, fluent in French is a plus
Car license B
